Education
I graduated from Cedarville University in 2014 with a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature, and a 2.5 GPA. I ran 1 year of Cross Country and worked for Student Life as a Resident Assistant. I am very thankful for my college experience, because I had great relationships with my professors, I was able to get connected with a school in South Korea upon graduation where I lived and taught English from fall 2014-2015.
Experience
In college for two years I worked as a Title 1 tutor for all elementary grades, both individual and some group tutoring, as well as Inclusion Participator which was an individual in-class aid to struggling and special needs students. After graduating in 2014 I taught English in South Korea at a rapidly growing private school. For K-grade 5 students I taught phonics and conversation english, and for middle school students I created my own curriculum and used it to teach vocabulary, reading, thesis-based essay writing, and debate.
