Education
I am currently a 2nd Year Chemistry PhD Student at Virginia Tech. While I am technically in the chemistry program, my research is in theoretical chemistry, which is where chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science overlap. In other words, my strongest area of study is mathematics even though I am in a chemistry program. In 2011, I graduate from Greenville College with a B.A. in Physics and Chemistry.

Hobbies
I am a huge fan of sports. While in college, I played inside linebacker for my college's team and was a 4-year letter winner. I still enjoy working out and go the gym on a daily basis in order to stay in shape. I absolutely love hiking and doing anything outdoors. The NRV is a beautiful area to live in and I want to take advantage of it as much as possible while I am here. In my free time, I love reading and watching movies as well as playing the guitar.
