In 2010, I graduated from James Madison University with a GPA of 3.9 and a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary liberal studies with a minor in middle school education. In 2011, I graduated from James Madison University with a GPA of four point no masters of arts in teaching in the subjects of middle school mathematics grade 6-8middle school science grade 6-8, and an algebra one endorsement .
Experience
I have been a middle school mathematics teacher for the past four years in the public school system. Over the past years, I have completed over 180 hours of professional development to help me become a better teacher and tutor. I began tutoring while I was a student in college and have continued ever since. I also have the opportunity during two summers a college to study abroad and teach in an international private school in Rome Italy. Though I enjoy being in the classroom, I feel most passionate about working with students one-on-one and instilling in them the confidence that they can succeed in any math class. I go above and beyond finding worksheets for them to work on, I enjoy creating games, working on whiteboards, and creating study guide for my clients.
