Education
Biochemistry major at Virginia Tech with a minor in Chemistry 2011-2015 GPA: 3.02 Biology major at Virginia Tech with a minor in Medicine and Society 2011-2015 GPA: 3.02 Both of my degrees are Bachelor of Science degrees within the College of Science. I also have an incomplete third minor in Engineering, but graduated a couple of credits short for that minor. I also am only a couple of classes short of another major in English Literature.
Experience
I have tutored college and high school Chemistry to peers. I also was a Teacher's Aide in Biochemistry. When I was in high school I received a 4 on the AP test for AP Literature. I have corrected many essays and scientific papers on subjects ranging from Shakespeare to Chemical Engineering. My main work experience was working in a Civil and Environmental Engineering lab. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping students learn a subject that is dear to my heart. I eventually want to be a Professor for college students and tutoring is a good way to practice for that future career.
